NY Korea

The Ny Korea section is a tribute to the summer life of New York's Central Park, through the performance of a dance company on 'Korea Day' in New York, 2010.
The black and white dresses of the dancers, as well as the makeup on their faces, were perfect for a black and white photoshoot, guessing through the photos if the director of the company was staging a kind of cosmic dance, remembering many images to the movement of the planets, the Moon and the Sun, and also the movements of the Light and the shadows during the different hours of the day.
Also the white makeup of the faces reminds in some way the popular Japanese theater style known as Kabuki
